Most board games promise that decisions have consequences. Mechs vs. Minions is the rare one where consequences have consequences, and that's the best part of the night.
You and up to three friends pilot the Yordles of Bandle City. Each round you draft commands, sequence them into a program, and watch your mechs execute exactly what you told them to do, onto a board that has already shifted underneath you. The first round goes roughly to plan. A few rounds in, someone is laughing. Then everyone is. You're not panicking; you're improvising together.
The Bandle City Edition is the same game that has held a Top 100 spot on BoardGameGeek since 2016, rebuilt for the shelf you actually have.
